I'm so happy this Bravo is bringing back one of my fave shows, Flipping Out this summer. I absolutely love Jeff Lewis and all his obsessive craziness! I can't wait.

Spramp Preview: Episode 6 of Flipping Out (The Finale!)

I'm finally back in full-on work mode. My visitors are gone (I'm sad) and am realizing how quiet my home is. My friends and I had a fantastic time getting into trouble all-over Seattle - I was getting into trouble mostly - but more about our adventures later. I do have a zillion and one things to get to, so here's a post-crazy long weekend post. Continuing with the craziness theme, I leave you with Episode 6 of my fave show Flipping Out, which airs tonight at 10E/9C on Bravo. It's the finale, which is weird (didn't it just start?). Oh well. I hope it gets renewed! There aren't that many OCD-proned control freaks/spramps to identify with on TV - go figure?

Spramp Preview: Episode 4 of Flipping Out

Time now for the latest preview of my new fave show Flipping Out (Tues on Bravo: 10E/9C)! Will Jeff Lewis ever sell a house?!? I'm actually crossing my fingers that the show throws in some hot, real estate agent lovin' for Jeff. Wouldn't that be fantastic?

Bullet Point Recap: Flipping Out Epi-3

I just got a chance to watch Episode 3 of Flipping Out (on Bravo), "The Bet," and have decided that (a) the show has become an addiction for me (b) perhaps a recap of the episodes on this blog is in order and (c) I think better in bullet points, so that's how I'll do 'em. So here we go:

• "I don't want to party like it's my birthday. I want to sell my house!" said by Jeff (the Flipper) at the very beginning. Pretty much sets the tone of the rest of the episode.
• re: Stephen (2nd Assistant) calls Jeff's organization "fascist" - Interesting thing about fascists (and crazy people for that matter) is that most of them have vision and get things done. (I think I'm crazy sometimes.)
  
• Jeff and Ryan (the cute business partner) go into a pretty awesome bet to sell the houses that they currently live in; winner gets to move into the Nottingham property (bought for $2.29 million; want to sell for $4.5 million). Ryan agrees ... knowing perhaps his will sell first. (His house on Queens Road is stunning!)
  
• Where's the back-story to Ryan's "family" and his baby? Inquiring minds want to know ... And why does Ryan look so familiar ... hmmm?
  
• Talk about psychic drama - Tori (the first psychic) gets fired (sorta) - her powers are called into question by Jeff. In comes a new medium, Fionna (who I like more). She looks the part, doesn't she? It might be the lazy eye.
• I love the holy water on the door handles during the blessing. Love love love. That's so Catholic! It'll protect the house from vampires too!
  
• Ryan sells his house first and wins. But the question remains: Will the Nottingham property be finished by the time Ryan moves in? Interesting ...
  
• Great quotes:

Jeff: On describing the cut down olive tree that Ryan goes ballistic over: "It looks very architectural actually."
Ryan: On the house blessing gone wrong at Valley Oak: "Time to get new candles."
Jeff: On losing to Ryan on the bet and pretending to vomit in the sink: "Carrie will you hold my hair please."

I tell ya. I can't quit this show. Jeff's overly-plump lips and his wry humor and quips keep pulling me in! I actually want to see Jeff's houses sell and the drama of offers being put on properties - sneaky buyers - I don't know, back-stabbing real-estate agents! The drama among Jeff and his employees is good shizz, but there's got to be more...

I think Jeff Lewis might be the most interesting guy that I've watched on TV in awhile! He's at the center of the super-fantastic reality show on Bravo called Flipping Out (Tues 10/9pm Central)! He makes having OCD so endearing! I wish my condition were just as cute. I'm absolutely in love with this show (and perhaps I've developed a slight crush) - and I'm still trying to figure out if the show is totally for real. I mean, you couldn't ask for a stranger and more interesting group of people! You must check it out. I've resorted to buying the latest episodes on iTunes since I'm without Bravo on my TV.
